Wed, March 3, 2004 - 1:30 PMi just heard this the other day playing in my friends coffee stand. i heard probably the last 2/3s of the cd. i didnt see the HUGE deal, he was alrite, had one of those catchy gimmic voices, some nice beats, lyrics were nothing inspirational.
have you heard Immortal Technique - Revolutionary. now that's pretty good in my opinion. -

Thu, March 4, 2004 - 12:58 AMi went back and listened to "fix up..." and the person that said he's got a gimmicky voice really nails my feelings on that one. never liked the beasties or eminem for the same reason--the voice (nasal voices really bug me.)
as far as it being a uk thing, maybe, but there's other uk mcs i LOVE--ty, roots manuva, even mike skinner (the streets.)
so to rephrase my initial query, what is so cool about the rascal that i'm missing? i mean, he's called dizzee, so maybe he's just being goofy and i'm taking it too seriously? -

Wed, April 7, 2004 - 1:21 PMfix up sucks big donkee d!#k and does sound gimmicky, however most of the rest his album is cool, you just can't expect to hear anything content wise, style wise I think he kills it(accept for fix up) and his beats are pretty hard to (accept for fix up). And yeah you might be talking it a we bit serious.
